Shops in Nagaland close so early...

Shops in nagaland close early
Shops run by most local business men close by 3-4PM in Nagaland, while
shops run by non-locals keep towns lively at least a few hours beyond. Especially In Kohima and Dimapur, some shops remains open quite late, and most of these shops are run by non-locals.

Most Naga businessmen also do not open shops on Sundays due to religious reasons. Even if some would like to, they'd normally be frowned upon by the Christian society, while Christians after church flock other shops run by non-locals to quench their thirst and relish on snacks from these shops. Thanks to the non-locals for running business late and on Sundays too. :D

If not for non-locals, buying even emergency, basic medicines may not be possible on Sundays. That is the locals mindset on business for now, sadly.
